Our Founder

Michelene Verger

My name is Michelen Verger, and I hail from the beautiful town of Gonalves, Haiti.  I made a life-changing decision when I was just 16 years old in July 1995: I dedicated my life to Jesus, a choice I have never regretted.  Following this decision, I received training as a new believer and underwent water baptism.

After I immigrated to the United States, I had the great fortune of meeting my wonderful husband, Wilson Verger, in Milford, Delaware.  We soon tied the knot and were blessed with four handsome young sons.  Today, we proudly call Florida home.

I have a strong sense of purpose and a calling to serve others.  Consequently, I am establishing an organization to assist those less fortunate in my community, with a vision to extend our reach globally.  My ministry is founded on the principles of love, care, and providing for those in need.

I am also a proud active member of Evangel Temple in Jacksonville, Florida, under the leadership of Pastor Jordan Wiggins.  Our faith community is firmly rooted in the belief in the salvation of souls, healing the sick, delivering those in bondage, receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and offering refreshment to the weary.  In addition to my church involvement, I’m leading a small prayer group, preaching, and managing a YouTube channel, making it a point to nourish the homeless on the streets of Jacksonville, Florida.

My journey has been one of growth and learning.  I pursued my education at Impact University and completed my Biblical Studies at St. Thomas Institute of Biblical Studies.  During my Biblical educational period, I was able to serve this great woman of God, Bishop Patricia G Walker; and I am also a member of Women in Ministry Front Line, headed by Patricia King.  I’ve had the privilege of participating in mission trips with Pastor Jordan Wiggins to Ethiopia, Africa, and El Salvador, Honduras, and I did several mission trips to Haiti where I conducted a considerable revival in the village of Gonaives.  My colleagues and I fed many young orphans and widows.

Reflecting on my past, 28 years ago I was the only member of my household who embraced Christianity, so my faith journey was marked by numerous Challenges, including ridicule on personal sacrifices for my unwavering commitment to attending church.  Today, I proudly stand as an Ordained Minister, a testament to the faith and resilience that have guided me through all my struggles.  I give all glory and honor to Jesus who has been my constant companion Through this remarkable journey.
